Dead Moon - 1cc. No Death.

This is very much a C vanilla game on the PC EngineTurbogfx-16 in every way but to be honest I found it to be quit fun. Its just meat and potatoes shooting. You get 4 weapon types each with their own strengths and weaknesses 4 ship speeds and either a defense or offense secondary weapon. I found the defense secondary weapon way more useful since it negates a ton of small bullets that are tricky to dodge with how fast your ship can be. Its not much compared to other PCE and PCE-CD games and I think it feels closer to a simple 8-bit NES shooter in presentation. Its quaint. Its funny to me too how the game has a basic scifi shooter feel but then the bosses are these weird spooky skeletons lol. Also kind of random but I LOVE that classic crunchy PC Engine sound of little popcorn enemies exploding. It gives me ASMR. Anyway. This is my clear. I get hit here and there but as with many console shooters that just brings your power down so I technically never lost a life.,
