In the second part of the Bi-clustering video lecture, we discuss advanced concepts, such as chaining bi-clusters, i.e., to connect bi-clusters that were detected for different pairs of dimensions. We provide an overview over full systems and describe the workflow they support. After the algorithmic analysis, an appropriate layout needs to be computed to display results and this is the starting point for visual exploration, including panning and zooming, displaying additional (textual) information. An essential use case is text analytics where documents are analyzed w.r.t. similarity: the co-occurrence of words primarily defines the document similarity.
