Air France Trip Report flying from Johannesburg to Vienna (via Paris Charles de Gaulle airport) onboard one of the Air France Boeing 777-300ER and an Airbus A320 on a very turbulent night over Africa and cloudy day over Europe. A quite comfortable trip from Johannesburg to Vienna (via Paris) with Air France. Although it is not the best Boeing 777-300 I've seen and the legroom could be better. Overall, the experience was fine. A flight clearly marked by the strong turbulence we had during the first half of the flight over Zambia and Congo. Our route took us on the first flight over South Africa, Zambia, Congo, Central African Republic, Chad, Algiers, Spain, and, finally, France. Pilanesberg Game Reserve - The reserve is roughly 180 km north-east of Joburg. The streets are extremely good and it takes roughly 2,5 hours to get there. The area is approximately 570 square kilometres large. It is home to 10.000 mammals and the "Big 5" are living in the reserve. We have seen lots of beautiful animals and were extremely lucky to also see a Leopard. Unfortunately we did not see any lions, but Rihnos, Giraffes, Elephants, Zebras, Boars, Buffalos, Hippos and lots of other wildlife (and of course the Leopard).
