Building An Electric Guitar

This video is about how to make an electric guitar. I made this guitar without any previous experience apart from making lots of other things before. In part 5 I'll be cutting the slots for the fret wires to be fitted later in part 6. I'll be cutting and fitting pieces of mahogany into the neck of the guitar to act as the markers. I'll then be drilling the head and fitting the machine heads or tensioners, whichever you prefer to call them. The next stage is to fit the neck to the body of the guitar. Lining up the neck properly is another crucial part and I'll show you how I devised a way to do that. Making an electric guitar can give you a great sense of achievement as it isn't that easy.
