In one of the glasses I put 1 spoon of salt NaCl and gave it a stir. Then I added drops of ink in both the glasses mixed instantly. When I put some drops of ink in the glass with salty water the ink did not mix and made a layer on the top because the density of salty water is higher than that of plain water.
