The Square Knot The Square Knot is a binding knot used to secure rope around an object. Its also known as the Reef Knot and the Hercules Knot. A reliable binding knot the Square knot can be used as a bend knot that ties two ropes together however it is unreliable as a bend and can slip. The Clove Hitch The Clove Hitch is a popular knot and considered one of the top three knots you should know. The Bowline Knot The Bowline is a popular knot that provides a secure fixed loop at the end of a working line. It is also considered one of the top three knots you should know.
